Fulltime (40 hours per week) - Amsterdam

Are you an analytical planner with a passion for detail and strong numerical insight? Do you have experience in the retail market and are you ready to play a crucial role in inventory and turnover planning within a dynamic team? Then this position as Merchandise Planner at Lois Jeans might be your next challenge.

As a Merchandise Planner you are responsible for analyzing sales data, inventory position and optimizing product availability to maximize sales and profitability. You work closely with sales (retail, wholesale and online), production and logistics to ensure that the right products are available at the right time and in the right place. 


Description of the tasks

  • You analyze item performance and create reports that lead to adjustments or creation of purchasing plans and orders.
  • You manage the range and merchandising of our items across the various sales channels (e-commerce, retail & B2B).
  • You monitor stock levels and forecasts and, together with the buyers, take action where necessary.
  • Responsible for item management in the system
  • Create and maintain merchandise plans for assigned product categories to meet financial goals (sales, margin, and inventory turnover).
  • Conduct analyses of sales trends, historical data, and market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.
  • You optimize stock by actively monitoring stock and sales indicators.
  • You provide management information to make the right strategic choices.


What we ask

  • You have at least 2-4 years of relevant work experience in the field of goods planning and inventory management (preferably within the fashion industry);
  • You have a higher professional education diploma
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, BI Software)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving ability
